To meet the needs of plant protection products serving the  country’s agriculture  in the  beginning of renovation  , approved  by  the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City , Department of Agriculture & Rural Development of  Ho Chi Minh City , along with the co-operation and technology transfer of  Rhône Poulenc company, Republic of France  . Sai Gon Plant Protection Joint Stock Company ( SPC ) was formally established on March 15 .1989 and  right after  supplied  the first  products into market  such as  Sherpa , Sherzol and Sevidol  widely used and  commended  by farmers
